We decided to go to Boston before Aiden’s 5th grade start at Oak Hill from July 29 to August 2. The first two days were quite hot (in the 90s) but we did the Old Town Trolley hop on-hop off bus and went to the New England aquarium. The city we stayed in, Brookline, is nice with restaurants and cafes lining the street and easy access to the metro/subway system. We found a sushi place for Aiden which wasn’t that good and spotted tons of Dunkin Donuts in the city. It cooled down on Thursday and we did a tour of Harvard College and took Aiden to the Museum of Illusions. Both of us also bought Red Sox hats and excited about Fenway Park game on Friday night against the Astros. Quincy Market was lively and Aiden ate a corn dog there with all of us eating Maggiano’s for lunch. The Red Sox game was intense and the fans were lively and passionate about their team. We stayed for 9 innings and left when it was tied 1-1. Fortunately, the Red Sox won in extra innings! We took the T back home and slept around 11. A great week in Boston exploring the sights and Aiden even saw his Bad Guys 2 movie in the theater there!
