We started something new for Aiden this summer! Indoor soccer! This was held every Sunday in Vienna and I even volunteered to coach the team which I actually enjoy. Aiden is one of the older kids and every game he scores at least 5 goals. He seems happy playing and soccer is a game that he’s passionate about. The i9 sports curriculum also teach a different value every week teaching all the kids about teamwork, courage, and sharing. It’s a great concept and we all have fun as a family.

Aiden has started playing T-Ball in Virginia and doing quite well. Running the bases, taking fielding drills, and hitting the ball with authority. He seems to like it but it’s still quite early. Coaches are great and he’s getting early morning exercise and learning about baseball! I will definitely take him to Red Sox game in the near future! Already is wearing the Red Sox gear!

Our friends recommended a new pool complex in Upper Hutt which was open for toddler only two hours on a Saturday morning.  We decided to go and it’s quite impressive.  A lot bigger than Huia Pool and with more toys for Aiden to play with.  There was a slide that the older kids were taking but I just took Aiden around the pool and through the river path they carved out in the pool.  I lost count the number of times we did the river swim.  They also had a ring to help toddlers swim and I put that on Aiden so he could kick better and go in the deeper part of the pool.  All in all, a good time for two hours and even the showers are better than Huia Pool.  We might make an outing there at least once a month!
